json-api-rescources wil not get further updates, we are already on a 4 year old version, when looking at the future (rails 7 ->) we need a alternative https://ruby.libhunt.com/jsonapi-resources-alternatives

It seems like neither jbuilder nor AMS are actually (fully) supporting JSON:API, so graphiti seems closest to home? We can start on a PR, and see if we can get it working for one or two endpoints? Or at least try to figure out asap whether or not it is suitable. If not, we should look more closely at what #106 suggests; moving away from the JSON:API (but then we'd need to look a bit more at what this means for the frontend, since we now use the JSONAPIAdapter)
