ESCs

Create a board or more to fit ESCs into Polystack. Would it be one mod for four or maybe two per mod?

With currently available components I think you can make it 4x20A ESC + PDB easily. 2oz copper will handle the current no problem.

Ah, the ESCs would be the PDB? Thats a cool idea. I assumed it would be a mod above the FC because then you could stack two for an octocopter.

With a pdb/esc all in one your space is limited for a bec; most people doing pdb/esc combos use linear voltage regulators and that wouldn't have enough current output to power the entire stack with a vtx.

I suggest PDB/ESC board to be the lowest one. Maybe we can make a BEC-mod the second board? 4mm should be enough to fit a switching regulator with 2A load capability.

Totally, you could do two PDB layers.

How about in lieu of an ESC mod, there's just a mod with a matching JST connector to the 4in1? That way you use whomever's 4in1 and just plug it in? Oh, and BTW, the 4in1s that I've seen also have a BEC onboard which could come in handy too.
