Hi !

new to Spark, the issue is after spark fix all reported error, is stuck in a task ( also Fix all reported error), but now in the browser it last for hours., I try to refresh the page , but the preview page still show me some citation (solving te problems , asking HAL nicely ;-) )

In the browser, there aren't many action buttons, and they're all disabled. I can't stop the task like in VS Code. I can't set a new prompt, just wait...

There's really nothing I can do.

This can happen when the browser session gets stuck. A few things you can try:

Open the Education/Spark page in an incognito window or another browser.

Clear cookies and cache, then sign out and back in.

If it’s still frozen, try using VS Code with Copilot Chat — there you can stop or restart the task manually, unlike in the browser.

These steps usually reset the task and let you continue without waiting forever

No really. I deleted the spark and started a new one.

Quick Fixes

Hard Refresh the Browser
Use Ctrl + Shift + R (Windows/Linux) or Cmd + Shift + R (Mac) to force reload without cache.

Try a Different Browser
Sometimes extensions or browser-specific issues cause this. Test in a clean browser (e.g., Firefox, Chrome incognito).

Clear Browser Cache
Cached data might be holding onto stale session info. Clear cache and reload the page.

sadly none of that fixes it. the spark itself seemed stuck in read.only. interestingly a day later it worked again.
for others maybe it would be a good idea to not delete the spark and just try again a few days later.

Facing same issue and nothing helps

Tried it today myself, and now nothing helps. Even deleting all sparks and starting a new one does not fix thigs

Same here. Spark stopped working for me. It doesn't work on new or existing projects. Here is the error I get in the network tab: "Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'canEdit')". I work on Mac, and I tried both Chrome and Safari. There is nothing on githubstatus about it
